About
Trevor
The execution of complex crane and hoisting operations represents one of the most high-stakes, high-risk environments in modern construction. A single miscalculation can have catastrophic consequences, demanding a level of precision, technical mastery, and operational discipline that few possess. Navigating this intense arena is Trevor Liviniuk, the President of Liviniuk Group Inc., a highly respected entrepreneur and an undisputed expert in the Canadian crane industry. Having built his career from the ground up, Trevor’s journey from a teenage apprentice operator to the President of a premier crane rental and sales company is a powerful testament to his grit and visionary leadership. Earning his Red Seal as a Mobile Crane and Hoisting Operator, Trevor spent years in the field executing some of the most complex and high-risk lifting operations across Western Canada. His deep, hands-on experience allows him to navigate the intricate technical requirements of critical lifts, large-scale industrial projects, and highly complex two-crane operations with an impeccable safety record.
Before relaunching his family’s business in 2021, Trevor served as a Regional Branch Manager for Mammoet, where he successfully established new branches and ran the North American Innovation Committee. Today, under his leadership, Liviniuk Group has grown into a formidable operation with a fleet of twenty-eight cranes, serving as the go-to equipment supplier for top-tier contractors, facility owners, and service providers across the country. Trevor is not only a master of field operations; he is a pioneer in construction technology. He was an early adopter and fierce advocate for the use of 4D planning in on-site equipment logistics. By leveraging 3D models and 4D animation, he assists project teams in optimizing crane placement, defining movement routes, and identifying potential hazards long before a lift occurs. This innovative approach significantly reduces lifting costs, minimizes site footprints, and enhances overall project safety.
Trevor’s leadership style is defined by humility, accountability, and a profound commitment to empowering his team. He uniquely bridges the gap between technical site discussions and executive boardrooms, ensuring that operational realities drive smart business decisions. Furthermore, Trevor is a passionate supporter of trades education, actively hiring and mentoring students through the Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) to build the next generation of skilled operators. His dedication to his community is equally inspiring; every year, he personally coordinates a massive holiday initiative, mobilizing his employees and local businesses to sponsor numerous families in need through a school Christmas hamper program. Trevor Liviniuk’s exceptional blend of entrepreneurial drive, technological innovation, and deep-rooted community values makes him a standout leader in the Canadian construction industry. His remarkable ability to elevate both his company and the people around him ensures that his impact will be felt across the sector for decades to come.
